So I took some time off, not for any other reason but to spend time with my family and friends. On the 1st of December, my husband, the kids and I, took the day to set-up the Christmas tree. We spent the entire day chatting, resting and having relaxed fun. While setting up, decorating and relaxing, I realised that all the things that I am filling my life with, is taking away all my time and energy that I should be spending on my husband and children. The very famous saying that says "happy wife, happy life", should not only be my husband's responsibility. I realised that if I don't do everything in my power to make myself happy, then I cannot blame others for my stressed-out unhappiness. So, with all this in mind, I would like to challenge everyone that has "started the year with a bang" and have a resolutions list longer than your arm, to step back, throw away that list, and make this year's resolution to breathe and relax.
