MAGNIFICENT MOTHERS

The only thing stronger than a mother's love is her immune system. (Okay, and her ability to function with little to no sleep, but that is a story for another time) Before I became a mother, I never thought I would do the things I do on a daily basis to someone else's bodily fluids. Wiping runny noses, cleaning ears, eye infections, getting coughed on several times a day, mostly directly in my face. The little hands that goes who knows where and then cups my face. The licking when playing dog-dog and all the other disgustingly cute things kids do.

The fact that all mothers are not permanently ill, amazes me. In fact, I don't know about you, but I get sick the least out of all of us.

We truly are magnificent, us mothers. Congratulate yourself on that today, if nothing else. 💛 Mama Theo.Ri
